There was a time, years ago, when the entire family watched quality actors at the awards. It was clean and acceptable for the entire family. They've completely subverted and undermined that too. Every year, at the University of Michigan, there is an event known as the Naked Mile. It's held on the last day of exams and is geared (mostly) towards seniors. Turnout is usually in the high hundreds, low thousands. The Ann Arbor and U of M police handle crowd control and sealing off the appropriate streets. There is absolutely no sexual aspect to the run. The College Republicans are one of the groups involving in organizing the event (the CRs were the biggest student group on campus when I was an undergrad).
