I understand many of these Dem voter registration drives involve the usage of financial incentives. The more a worker registers, the more money he/she gets. Only problem is there is no quality control. Worker just registers anyone, even if it is improperly filled out, he/she just wants the cash. Problem for the Dems is they will not have an accurate headcount of how many people will be able to vote on 2 Nov 2004. Worst yet, the workers will entangle the local party into legal problems over voter fraud. What a mess. Wait till most of the states computerize their voter lists and the federal government can compare the info with existing lists of Social Security numbers to name, or the state DMV compares their list of names, licences, addresses and etc and find that the info does not correlate (i.e two names to a SSN or different addresses to names, or better yet, voted as an absentee ballot in one state and registered to vote in another state). A smart GOP official can have alot of fun once the voting lists are computerized.

...and he thought it was funny!

Why is it so easy to register to vote? Legal citizens should have to go to the Board of Elections and present a valid ID to register. There is no excuse for that not being the case now.

Maybe I'm expecting too much. I don't even have to present a valid photo ID at the polling place to get a ballot. It's no wonder various forms of vote fraud are running rampant.
