Free Republic's own Luis Gonzalez interviews retired CIA operative Felix Ismael Rodriguez, author of "Shadow Warrior: The CIA Hero of a Hundred Unknown Battles."
Mr. Rodriguez details his involvement with the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the capture and execution of Ernesto "Che" Guevara in the jungles of Bolivia, how the decision to sever Che's hands and keep them in formaldehyde was reached and why, the capture of Nidia Diaz, the guerilla leader responsible for the murder of American Marines in El Salvador, and his service in Vietnam.
Most importantly, Mr. Rodriguez details his encounter with Senator John F. Kerry during the Iran-Contra Hearings, Kerry's appeasement of communist leader Daniel Ortega, and the web of lies that Kerry was weaving against the Bush family even then.
mark for after the RED SOX game!
Shows start at the top of every hour and will replay until 2pm est tomorrow.
This was a great show. Luis finally got me to register to listen. Right Talk Radio is fabulous -- comes in clear and doesn't click off all the time like previous computer radio programming requiring you to refresh all the time. I get much better reception in my office than I can with regular radio and a better selection of programming too.
I registered and the first thing I listened to was Dr. Corsi (co-author of the Swift Vets Book). I only got the last half of that so I am ging to try to tune in for the re-run. Then lunch, and back to the office to catch Luis Gonzalez and his fascinating interiew. Wound up the afternoon with a big dose of Hannity.
I'm in heaven. Thank you!
OK. Please identify. Kerry, Harkin?, who is the woman, and is this Rodrigues?
I believe the woman is Harkin's wife and the Fidel wannabee is Ortega.
Tell your friends!
Great job guys. I'll check it out tonight.
Bump
Felix Ismael Rodriguez should be Powell's replacement at State.
Technical question. My player keeps falling in and out. Is some setting I should change or is it the site. I have no problem with Rush, replay player, wabc radion etc...
Try increasing your buffer. Most webstations stream in 16kbs, we stream in 48 for much better quality.
Where does one sigb-up or 'register'?
I looked all over and could not find a click to do so.
I depend on the internet for all my radio listening.
You don't need to sign up to listen (the sign up button is on the front page in the left hand column). Signing up does gets you special features.
