Yes, they make huge profits but then again, they pay corporate taxes, they pay bonuses that get taxed, they provide employment which generates taxes, they provide dividends that create taxes, they add wealth to share holders.

And, the fact that we are short on supply is that the leftists won't allow the creation of new refineries or of new drilling in Alaska.

I visited the Alaska Wilderness back in the 70's. Nothing there. The area where they want to drill is about as worthless as a Mexican sand dune. The environmentalist flexed their muscles and in the end it is costing all of America especially those who have to work for a living. In 1970 I was working on the Alaskan pipeline in Dead Horse Alaska (Prudhoe Bay) when NBC sent a camera crew to film our operation. The reporter stated in front of all of us that we were running the environment. That was the way she reported it to America. In actuality the Alaska Pipeline people have a hard time keeping the migrating herds from gathering around the pipeline crossings during the winter. Environmental wacko's would let your children starve so that they could go to Sierra Club and ELF meeting in their Mercedes SUV's. I have no use for them. Most are just over educated weirdo's with no common sense.

We tried to get congress to pass a bill for us to continue to drill in Alaska, but,,, NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW , it would hurt the baby seals there.
Don't get me wrong, I love animals, and I also believe, we have the TECHTICNAL KNOW HOW now to drill and be smart about it, without harming the land, animals. BLAME THAT ON THE LIBS.
Another way for the price of gas to go down, is tell all your friends, and all their lib friends, to go tell all the libs, to NOT DRIVE THEIR CARS, then, the price of gas will go down. TELL YOUR FRIEND TO STOP BLAMING BUSH, TELL YOUR FRIENDS AT WORK, to STOP COMPLAINING, if THEY ARE A PART OF THE PROBLEM.

Excellent point Misterrob. The dems have blocked attempts to drill in Alaska.(Enviromental concern?) I believe one of the last oil refineries built was in Pascagoula, Mississippi about 1964-1966. Please correct me if I am wrong? A post was listed a few days back which could be a possiblity. Soros, and his foreign country friends in the oil business can cut back the product to drive the cost of gasoline to extremely high levels. This would be one of their many efforts to change the outcome of our election in favor of Skerry.
