No way am I pessimistic. If we lose tonight, well, then reality sets in. If we win tonight and have 3 in Fenway, we actually have a shot to keep this from even going back to Yankee Stadium-- even with Lowe pitching Game 5. We play incredibly well in Fenway-- even that Ortiz game winner spoke to how we believe we can win there even when we give up 5 runs for the tie. We also put up runs on their best pitcher (belatedly, but they count) and their BP. I don't think any Red Sox player is scared of any pitcher they'll face in Fenway-- even Moose again.

Both the Red Sox and Yankees have road records that leave a lot to be desired. The Cardinals have incredible balance in that regard (and in other regards as well), postings identical records at home and on the road.
