Torre is never one to put the individual over the team..but in this case, you may be right...

Cannot believe that they brought in Wakefield here...I know knuckleballers can pitch almost indefinitely (Bouton said a knuckleballer pitching is like playing catch with your sister), but Wakefield has usually baffled the Yankees, and giving them more "practice" against the knuckleballer is probably not wise. Lat I heard, Wakefield was going to start one of these games, especially if Schilling is injurerd....
