Giants and Red Sox. Grew up as a Bosox fan. Adopted the Giants after moving to the Bay Area in 1981. If the Giants and the Bosox had both gotten to the Series I would have gone with my first true love, the Bosox, over the Giants.
I've had to suffer with the Red Sox and the Giants just falling short....

Here in my office we have Yankee haters and one Big Boston fan. I am planning what I will clean tonight. I usually put the game on and then start cleaning because of my nerves. I cannot sit and watch like a normal person.

And yes, I have to suffer rooting for the Giants in spite of Gavin "Twosome" Newsom, Blabs Boxer, Dianne Feinstain, and Nancy Pelibsi....

I had a nightmare last night that the Red Sox beat the Yanks in the ALCS and then went on to beat Houston in the WS. ......and then, less than a week later in another Texas vs. Mass matchup, Kerry defeated Bush.
Woke up in a cold sweat.

They represent your beer swilling slobs more than the corporate sell out looking Yankees. The Red Sox make beer-swilling slobs look like corporate sellouts.

You're not going to convince us Red Sox fans that we ought to cheer for the Yankees for the good of November 2nd.
I don't blame you for trying-- it's the sort of slimy tactic a Yankee fan would use.

lol.....Believe me, the last thing we Yank fans want is for you LowSux fans to root for us for any reason. Man, the very thought makes me want to jump in the shower.

I stayed home from work last Friday...and watched the whole game. I live in SoCal...but my heart will always be with the Red Sox. They gave us quite a game last Friday.

Maybe if the Bosox get into the World Series, John F'n will come to your favorite sports bar to hoist a few and talk baseball...

Yanks in 4. Optimistic. I'll say Yanks in 6, with the Yankees' bitch (Pedro) losing the final game.

Wow...after reading some of the posts on this thread, I have come to the conclusion I am not tough enough to withstand the onslaught of verbal jabs here. With that said....

there's always "next year" for the BoSox fans. With an all-new gimmick, undoubtedly. Last year it was the ridiculous (and inappropriate) "Cowboy Up!" slogan. This year they're all trying desperately to out-slob each other. Next year, who knows?

Once I saw that the bottom of the Angels lineup would face the top of ours, I knew we'd win it.

No, we got your back. Hang around. Like I said, we have front row seats for Armageddon. Who would want to miss that show?

I am a Red Sox fan, and Yankees Suck, but I sure hate the fact that John Kerry would take the credit for the Red Sox Winning, if they beat the yankees. Almost makes me want to root for those Damn Yankees!

Yeah..well it was a nail biter for me. Even Mr.C4E watched with me when he got home. He's not much of a baseball guy. Nascar/anything racing on tires is his thang. Game is at 8:00EDT...ummmmm...5:00PDT. Hope I can make the game.
