Getting Physical (Union thugs target Republicans.)
Wall Street Journal ^ | opinionjournal.com

We may be about to experience an election unlike any we've seen in a while. The Florida recount in 2000 raised passions and blood pressure and featured some demonstrations on both sides, but there was no violence. This year, lots of groups are jostling with each other to monitor the elections in battleground states. For its part, the AFL-CIO has promised to dispatch thousands of election monitors to battleground states to watch for any hint of trouble at polling places. From the initial reports, they may be the ones for have to be watched as potential troublemakers.

Last week, in Orlando, Fla., approximately 60 union protestors stormed and ransacked the local Bush-Cheney headquarters causing considerable damage and injuring one campaign staffer, who suffered a broken wrist.

According to an Orlando Police Department report, Rhyan Metzler, a field director for the Republican Party, was at the headquarters about 1 p.m. last Tuesday when 60 protestors barged in. Van Church, a 53-year old protestor, forced the door open and caused Mr. Metzler's arm to be caught in it. His left wrist was fractured in the altercation. Police say Mr. Church will be charged with two counts of battery.

But Mr. Church is unrepentant. "If his wrist was fractured, it's a result of his own actions in jerking the door the way he did," he told the Orlando Sentinel. "He jerked the door out of my hand and cut it in the process." But since it is Mr. Church who is being charged, the police apparently didn't think Mr. Metzler did anything wrong.

If you want to understand the differences between the two parties, study the nature of their enemies.

Union thugs = The Brown Shirts of the Democrat Party. Do the people who intend to vote for Kerry have any idea what they are really going to get?

It was OK when the DNC hired felons to attack proBush people.

It was OK to advertise murder of officials in DNC ads.

It was OK to attack office after Republican office.

CONCLUSION:
950 stolen FBI files, a trail of dead bodies,
and a walking-free Berger-Burglar loudly proclaim
that any and all violence against non-Democrats is nothing.
Now move along.....

Esmerelda Aguilar, an AFL-CIO spokesman, says Republicans are "trying to politicize [the Orlando incident] and exaggerate the event." She maintains that all of the demonstrations "were peaceful protests" designed to call attention to new Bush administration regulations on overtime pay.

I guess that is Union speak for...."No one died". sarcasm/off

From the article:
Last week, Democrats responded by creating their own SWAT teams of lawyers that will be dispatched to any place where voting problems are recorded.

I hope that these maniacs have at least read EVERY state constitution in the U.S. What happened in 2000 was they swooped in and immediately started recounting ballots without fully inderstanding our constitutional process.

That process calls for the results (no matter how close) to first be certified by the Secretary of State, and the electoral votes going to the apparent winner. If the margin is less than 2%, at this time an automatic recount kicks in and the ballots from ALL counties get recounted

Those dingbats just invaded certain counties and began recounting without regard to our state law. Then, when Secretary of State Harris tried to certify the election to allow due process to be carried, they all screamed foul.

Someone needs to stop this from happening again.

Mace the bastards,if it gets scary. I'm serious. Everybody should have one on them for Liberal crowd control.

That'll bring them to their knees if they get to violent. Mace is a good equalizer until the police arrive.

Very good point. Can you imagine if pro life protesters acted like this? It would be on every news cycle on every channel for months. These thugs need to be in jail until after the election if not longer. Where are the civil libertarians?

NOTHING NEW FOR THE DEMOCRATS. WHEN CLINTON WENT TO PHILADELPHIA, PA. A BYSTANDER WAS BEATEN BY UNION THUGS AND WAS ARRESTED BY THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY LYNN ABRAHMS (DEMOCRAT) THE UNION THUGS CAUGHT ON VIDEO TAPE WERE NOT CHARGED. DON ADAMS THE VICTIM IS STILL FIGHTING THE UNION & THEIR THUGS, THIS MANY YEARS LATER.

Saw that photo too when it was first reported.......these Democrats are everything they are claiming we are in spades! Everytime I hear another one of their accusations about Bush or the Republicans I remind myself of that fact.

When the polls report that sKerry is ahead of Bush I also remind myself of the fact that a vast majority of DemoRATS are watching those channels thats why the UNscientific polls show sKerry ahead.

Unfortunately, I often find myself in an endless cycle of repeating these very things to me elderly mum and her friends who keep forgeting these facts.........but it's an exercise well worth repeating if it gets them off their butts to vote on Nov. 2nd. I also told them it's the new veterans day and they owe it to the troops........this I added for the guilt effect....they received the message as I intended it to be received. Now I'll have to wait for Nov. 2nd to see if it worked.

Should say that the AFL-CIO thugs will be present to make sure that there will be a little trouble at the polling places.

Mace the bastards,if it gets scary.

Do that and it will be labeled "assault with a weapon" and every MSM outlet in the US will declare it an attack by Republican agitators on "peaceful" protesters.

Better response is to try to file RICO charges, but don't bet that will work if the Frenchurian candidate gets appointed by the courts. Any reaction by the campaign will bring very negative PR. I think that is the point of these break ins, trying to get someone to react so the left can have their martyr.
