The polls are starting to "shift" because the MSM is now facing reality. We are getting close to the election, so the time frame for cooked numbers is passing by. They will be revising the polls little by little over the next few weeks, ultimately showing public sentiment as it really is.
Although the MSM will not hesitate to use bizarre, Dem-loaded polls to try to influence public opinion now (witness the spate of "dead heat" polls after the first debate), they cannot do so at the Election Eve if they expect to maintain any credibility with the public at large. A poll must be reasonably close to the election results if it is not to be laughed out of existence. And, since the MSM is principally a profit business, they will sell out their agenda.
They usually break for the challenger in local/state and non-presidential races, but historically undecideds go to the incumbent in presidential ones.
LIAR LIAR TAIL ON FIRE!!!
Bush learned from 2000 and is leaving nothing to chance. He will get out the vote. He's been focused on the ground war from day one.
