For no other reason than that I was trapped in one place for a long time with the book nearby, I read 'The DaVinci Code' and wish I hadn't. What an eye-roller. Literature has slipped a long way in America if a Scooby-Doo Mystery for adults like 'The DaVinci Code' captured the nation's attention.
I'm not very religious, and even I can see how Christians were offended by the book.
I'm sure that the movie will be just as big a success.
