Just some stuff off their website. Read the last part, it may explain what is going on to some extent. I didn`t include the area code on the Ph. number though, wasn`t sure if I could post it. But it is 202 if your interested.

We welcome your comments regarding the upcoming special news event featuring the topic of Americans held as prisoners of war in Vietnam. The program has not been videotaped and the exact format of this unscripted event has not been finalized. Characterizations regarding the content are premature and are based on ill-informed sources.

Massachusetts Senator John Kerry has been invited to participate. You can urge him to appear by calling his Washington, D.C. campaign headquarters at

Sinclair is a "second tier" broadcaster, with 60 stations nationally; most of their affiliates are Fox and WB affiliates, but it has a smattering of affils from the other networks as well. Their largest market is Baltimore, where they own/manage the Fox & WB affiliates.

I did a piece for Project 21 in August 2001 on their former CEO (who happens to be black), and his opposition to Jesse Jackson's extortion of Sinclair.
