Richard Lugar, the Republican chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, said that the handling of the reconstruction aid in Iraq by this administration has been incompetent. . . . Sen. Hagel of Nebraska said that the handling of Iraq is beyond pitiful, beyond embarrassing; it's in the zone of dangerous. . . .

President Bush should come up with a slam for this. The name dropping will be repeated in the 3rd debate. I have noticed that Kerry is using word for word some of the same rhetoric he has used since the campaign started.

I don't know about the others but Racicot was very quick in stating that Kerry wildly misquoted him. Within thirty minutes of the debate's end, Racicot had already set the record straight with two of the three cable news networks.

The Swedes have an amusing expression: When someone keeps dropping things, they will ask, "Have you eaten drop porridge?"

Goes great with crack sausage.

Kerry knows a lot about porridge, being married to Gold-ilocks as he is...

I wonder if Senators Lugar, Hagel and McCain have had anything to say. Is Hagel a Republican?

What is it with these guys???

The problem is the large numbers that watched the debate do not hear or see corrections. The "main stream news" does not make an effort to correct the false impression that has been established because it is contrary to their political agenda. It is a sad situation and is eroding our democratic electorate process.

Hagel is from our great state of Nebraska.....and we have disowned him as a Republican here. He's just a media whore. Oops, can I say that?
