How about volunteers, three to guard them and one driver per bus; relief crew and ride home every 500 miles or so? Then transfer the miscreants to a ship at a Texas port and drop them somewhere near Tierra Del Fuego. It's a long walk back from there!
Guess I need a remedial class. Speed errors, of course.
I'll bet the ranch and my chihuahua that this judge was not a Clinton appointee. Any takers?
Kudo to your post #5.
Make the people pay for their own interpretors. I was ina probate case 2 years ago, they made us pay for a court appointed attorney we didn't want.
We had to pay the court appointed attorney and our own attorney.
Poverty is no excuse. Make them pay for their own attorney. They are responsible adults. Make them responsible.
As a result of the story, the cops admitted they will do nothing to these people because it's just a real productivity killer. It shoots an entire shift to hell and makes you late getting home. Not to even mention the no-shows in court thirty days later.
He has been on FR before:http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/647707/posts
I've posted a few articles about the exact same situation going on in PA. on I-80.
We can end all this next week. Just make English the required national language. Don't speak or read it? You have 6 months to learn. No citizenship for those who can not pass a test.
I work in a related field, and I can confirm this. (What's more, many of them have been in this country for 20 years or more.)
Make them pay for their interpreters.
Incidently I was travelling 80 when I was impaled by the leafspring which broke from the axil of a tractor trailer. It came thru my windshield and thru my chest, spearing me thru the seat upholstry.
I don't drive interstates much anymore. I fly. With guys like Rendell around, I feel a whole lot safer, even at night, in icing, and a 600 foot ceiling.
Things exploding thru your windshield and spearing you to the seat tend to do that to you.
uhh, how would one prove they lack a particular skill?
Makes you wonder if some those "non-English speakers" are getting a kickback from the interpreters.
How is it rude to speak one's native tongue, the language they are most conversant in?
Why are you listening to their conversations? Maybe they're speaking a different language to keep the busybodies from knowing their business.
I agree that it would be best for them to learn to speak English if they intend to stay here, but I don't think that means they have to drop all other languages.
Ouch, glad you are still with us. I drove I-80 from NY to WI a few years back. All the jacknifed 18 Wheelers really made an impression.
It was the cashier taking my money and an assistant speaking right in front of me. Of course it's rude.
Ya! See-gar-ets! Ya! Uh...My hovercraft is full of eels.
He said his company is paying hundreds of thousands a year just for interpreters for workers compensation investigations, all is being passed along to the insurance consumer.
We are getting screwed!
