Great tagline. Please. Leave me alone. I'm trying to memorize my talking points.

OSC thinks like Conservative Southern Democrats used to. In my area 25 years ago, a Republican couldn't win office for anything- but the Democrats back then were the kind of people you could support- strong backers of the military, and the Bill of Rights. Preferrable- in my opinion- than some of these "moderate" Republicans who don't stand for much of anything nowadays. We need more like this guy.
( BTW, did you & yours squeak through all those hurricanes OK? )

Thank you both for your responses. I need to go review some history on the Six-Day War. This was not something I was taught since it actually happened while I was in school.

Yes, thank you. We missed Ivan on the move down but 12 days later rode out Jeanne. We were about 80 or so miles south of where the eye made land, so we were fortunate. Some scary gusts but no major damage other than some trees that hadn't already fallen during Frances. Hoping you, Miss Em and Taffy Gee all escaped the repercussions that headed north.

Glad to hear that- about the time Jeanne passed by, we finally got all the things we had neglected for years taken care of, and the house was, at last, ready to face a storm-- so we should be ready for next year's season.
