Here's a summary of today's polls. 'What's wrong with this picture?'

Bush/Cheney : Kerry/Edwards

RCP Average 10/3 - 10/10: 47.8% 46.0% Bush +1.8

Zogby (1216 LV) 10/8 - 10/10: 44% 47% Kerry +3

ABC/Wash Post (1438 LV) 10/7 - 10/9 51% 46% Bush +5

Time (886 LV w/leaners) 10/6 - 10/7 46% 45% Bush +1

GW/Battleground (1250 LV) 10/3 - 10/7 49% 46% Bush +3

Marist (642 LV) 10/4 - 10/5 49% 46% Bush +3

Without Zogby's "poll" Bush is +3

What has happened to Zogby? His rants against Israel show he is clearly anti-Semitic and anti-US. Have his political views ruined his poll's significance? I say yes.

It's Zogby's "Secret Sauce" that makes all the difference.

I knew as soon as I saw Zogby had Kerry up that he was outlier...he's almost getting predictable.

Well, I will mention that I noticed right off the bat that the Zogby one seems to be the only one that is totally after all three debates. Don't know if that makes a difference, but I noticed that.

But I doubt they will change much after the third debate. I didn't see anything in the 2nd presidential debate to change anything.

ZogBS is not too reliable with all his anti-Bush slant.

Zogby has always leaned liberal.....He's a Jew hating Arab-American whose brother is on a terrorist watch list.....

This will do more to mobilize the Republican base if they think the race is close and will more likely suppress the demoncratic vote if they believe their candidate is ahead.

How long before someone posts the myth that he was the most accurate in 2000 blah, blah, blah

The guy has been very very wrong lately(Remember when the war broke out and everybody else had support at high 60's low 70's? This guy had it 50/50) and as for 2000 he was not closest

Wasn't Zogby way off the mark in the 2002 mid-term elections? I seem to recall that his polling showed that the Dims were going to gain substantially in the congressional races when, in fact, the Pubbies gained.

It's Zogby's "Secret Sauce" that makes all the difference.

Zogby counts the dead, mexican, felon, and senile vote.

And it may make the difference.

Vote fraud is THE issue. Stop it by all means neccessary.

Does anyone have any internals on the Zogby poll? Was this an internet poll? Zogby is a DNC pollster and deserves to be taken the same as a Carville poll.

The national polls get my attention a lot, but it's the state polls that matter. As I see the RCP breakdowns, it looks like Bush has to pick up Ohio and the election is his.

So far, Zogby is pretty much the only pollster to show F'n continuing to gain momentum. Sometimes he picks up things that other pollsters miss, so this is worth watching, but I'm not going to start worrying about it until others replicate his findings.

Zogby was right ONCE. In 2000.
I know thousands of stock market predictors who were right ONCE.

Zogby, of the arab ancestry, is obviously mad at Bush's
pro-israel stand. Also, the arabs have a mental block
against any arab being beaten up by a non-muslim, as
Saddam was by christian Bush.

Polls can be skewed easily based on how the questions are
framed. Every political junkie knows that. Zogby will be
proven to be way off base after Nov 2nd, and will become
a has been and irrelevant.

Don't get too worked up over the latest Zogby poll results because, according to the Reuters article ( http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=6465847 ), [t]he poll of 1,214 likely voters was taken Friday through Sunday according to Reuters". Bear in mind that weekend polling tends to traditionally favor Democrats.

I think you're right. He also made the embarrasing claim in the final days that Jim Ryan was going to win the governorship in Illinois. Would've been nice...but Zogby was full of it.
