Kidding about what? What post are you referring to? Do you mean left wing Literature Laureates? I guess you can find plenty but on the other hand you can also find Kipling, Von Heidenstam, Churchill, Hemmingway etc.

Me think Horace Engdahl and his lot likes to view themselves as above such petty issues as partisan politics.

Regarding the Peace Prize, well, As a Swede I can safely distance myself from it, since it is the Norwegian Parliament Committee who picks the winner. Mr. Nobel did not trust the war mongering Swedish parliament with this particular Prize.

On that note I also distance myself from the Swedish Bank Prize in Economics. It is not even a proper Nobel Prize.
