The Bush team and GOP need to capitalize on this with the perspective of "swatting at flies."
Kerry talks about "getting back to" where terrorism was just viewed as a nuisance. That is how 9/11 happened. The Cole bombing and the embassy bombings and the WTC bombing were all treated like "nuisances."

This is the point they need to make. Forget the nonsense about prostitution or whatever. That's confused and a missed opportunity.

Yes. This can be the backbreaker---not for Bush to win, which I think he already had in the bag---but for a blowout that will take down several Dem senators, too.

And be sure and mention that those attacks were murderous attacks on American citizens as well. Murder is murder, it ain't nuisance even if less than 4000 people are murdered.
