Kerry had once supported removing Saddam Hussein from power but now "says it was all a mistake."

They connected the dots in 1998 but Senator Kerry and MSM can't seem to connect the dots in 2004.

Here is an easy to read chart of what the media was saying pre-911 (and after): Connect the Dots...Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.

Lots of facts and quotes about the president-wannabe at the John F. Kerry Timeline.

Sorry I misunderstood. The government says nothing about a great number of Saddam's terror acts against the US including Somilia, the first WTC attacks and the Oklahoma bombing. Why? I have no idea because he was involved in all three of those and maybe some of the aircraft downings.

I agree with you about that.

But in this instance, to me if the info in this article was true, this would be the October surprise, a positive and GWB would definitely be using this info in the debates.

Did the scholars or experts document their conclusions for CNS? I mean all cBS did with their's was call experts who declined authenticity, but had they verified the claim things might be different..

It should finish off John F*ckin's campaign and the pro-Saddam Michael Moore Left in America. Unfortunately, the mainstream media will give these explosive findings no play.

I am not advocating doing nothing. I just don't expect any cooperation from the MSM. The alternate media, along with a diminishing customer base for the MSM is the key.

If we had a video of the meeting, the MSM wouldn't care.

"Saddam was personally overseeing the details" of training terrorists and assigning their missions, Mr. Phares said. "From 1993 on, Saddam Hussein connected with Sunni fundamentalists in the Arab world. He was in touch with the founding members of al-Qaeda."

Did not really indicate you were - sure did not mean too.

I had just been reading the thread indicating that Fox News seemed to be changing direction possibly because their president is a liberal. If we are abandoned by Fox and we are told what to think by the liberal media, what is our next recourse.

I think it is to continue getting the truth out - FR is my news site. But, we have to find a way to spread that truth too.

Maybe I'm over-reacting. Hope so.

Walid Phares lives in my town here, Boynton Beach. He is on FNC a lot, and I found myself begrudgingly admiring his insight. You can't imagine what a relief it was to find out on this forum that he is a Christian and not a moslem.

"SO when is BUSH going to MAKE THIS KNOWN TO ALL?"

He can't, until the documents have been verified as authentic by lots of experts. Rumsfeld said, on the Sean Hannity show, that the documents are in the process of being verified. The latest word is that the CIA is dragging its feet though.

Well we had knowledge of their connections for years and it was a fairly common topic of discussion in the RATmedia during the late nineties when it even ran articles about Salman Pak and the Sudan connection.

Richard Clarke and DefSec Cohen gave Congressional testimony stating that there was a connection in the Sudan between Iraq and OBL including stating that the drug store Clinton blew up was a joint operation between the Iraqi military intelligence and OBL.

So given the prior knowledge of this connection and the continuous dismissal and historical rewrites since 9/11 this article does not seem to be a sufficient surprise excellent as it is.

Besides the October Surprise was initially mentioned as a RAT trick on Bush. I believe the OS was initially meant to be Rather/Guard attack which was to be followed up by that whole Texas RAT clown show. Since Lurch was doing so poorly in the polls in Sept. they panicked and released the memos before they had time to gin them up properly.

"What is interesting is that Iraq was working with Islamic militants of all stripes. Saddam did not make a distinction between Baathists or Sunnis or Shiites or anyone else," Ms. Mylroie said.

That is because Islam is an Empire, not many little States. We are at War with Islam, even if we deny it.
