I think of my friends who are democrat, knowing full well that they are not socialists, and I don't know how to get through to them because they all think we are just alarmists! The ignorance is astounding!
Ask them point blank if they think America can be a succesful Communist nation...you'll be blown away by the responses. The ignorant ones need an educmacation about what Communism really is...so be prepared to provide it.
