One of the greatest turnarounds in baseball history, a CG Shutout against the best team in baseball...Jose Lima...It is Lima Time!
Would love to see that! (but if Clemens is pitching for Houston, I'll be cheering for the Rocket)
Ummm...right.
4-0. Cards never really threatened. Dodgers runs scored in 3 different innings.
I think you need a different sport Mr. Gore.
"This is just a bump in the road as the Cardinals march on to the World Series."
Absolutley.. My tag line says it all. I already have my World Series tickets reserved. : )
I hope he has found his way humbly back too
I don't want a recount, your boys are going down tomorrow...
Bye
I'm in for the games in STL, but I'm having a hell of a time getting tiks for NY.
They will not last beyond 35.
"I'm in for the games in STL, but I'm having a hell of a time getting tiks for NY. "
I am planning to go to game 6 and 7 if the Cards and Yanks are pounding it out. My tickets are in the bag, so they aren`t a problem. My tickets for the three in St.Louis are wrapped up as well.
I was so ticked when the National league lost the All-Star game because I new the chances were ripe for the Cards and Yanks to meet up this year. I live in St.Louis , so if the Cards had home field advantage I could see all seven World Series games ( if needed ) and only have to make one trip to NYC. Now, with the Yanks having home field ( if they make it ) , two trips is just too much for me to swing to see all 7 games. But my family up there is on notice that I will be arriving if there is a game 6 and or 7. : )
GO BIRDS
So the solo shots in 2 other innings wouldn't have happened and the Cards would have somehow managed to score?
Nice try.
Like I said, enjoy it...it ain't gonna last
