Did you see any real thing happen to the punk that took the little girls sign in the picture in a near by post ... No ... and YES I am absolutely sure that the cops would do NOTHING. Do you remember in Florida 2000 when the dims chad counters were going to lock themselves in a secret room to "count the chad ballots and the Republicans would have none of it. They went upstairs (tresspassing) and banged and shouted at the door (disturbing the peace). The secret and illegal count STOPPED (Thank God) cause these people did what the Government WOULD NOT. George Bush could have very well have lost the elections if these patriots had wimped out instead of taking matters in their own hands.

You're missing the point.
If they have their names, addresses, faces, license plates, and proof of their behavior released to the public, who's going to trust them?
And how is doing the "John" posters running to the teacher?

You're also missing a second point.
Commiting crime to 'get back' at someone is NOT responsible adult behavior.
Why risk arrest?
Instead, get public outrage at their behavior such that they will be forced to stop their activity.
Neighborhoods that are looking out for KNOWN punks and let said punks know they are being watched tend to not have such problems.
Police intervention not needed there.
