The Real Story Behind Sweden's 'Man Tax'

The world's press has taken a shine to a proposal in the Swedish Parliament to create a "man tax" in response to violence against women. Recently World Net Daily, Reuters, and the London Daily Telegraph published articles on the proposal, including some strong propaganda in favor from former Left Party leader Gudran Schyman.

Although the proposal has been covered by the press in Sweden, reaction is generally unfavorable and the story behind it has not reached the rest of the world. We need to take the discussion seriously because of all the damage that extremist left feminist politics has caused. The real story behind the 'man tax' is an internal power struggle in a dying political party.

The Left Party is a Cold War remnant that has not shifted completely into the new world order. Gudran Schyman skillfully handled a balancing act between old socialism and acceptance of its somewhat more modern derivative, social democracy, after the fall of the Soviet Empire. Social democracy allows some private ownership and controlled capitalism and is largely defined by an open, multi-party political system. Sweden is also a member state in the European Union and is currently making a slow transition to a more open, market-driven economy.

After Schyman was forced to resign over irregularities in her handling of government compensation, the leadership position went to avowed communist Lars Ohly, whose historical ties to world communism and foreign dictators is so controversial that it may threaten to split the party or lead to his resignation. In 2000, he was asked whether he would prefer Bill Clinton or Fidel Castro to lead the country and he answered Castro. In a recent defensive debate on Swedish television, he stated that one of his strongest interests is the defense of Cuba against the U.S.; a comment that was sure to draw interest in a faction of the party.

In the background, Gudran Schyman has expressed interest in returning to a party leadership position in an as yet nonexistent new feminist party. The Left Party has already lost membership to the equally leftist Environmental Party that formed only a few years ago. The Left Party does contain a significant feminist faction and was certainly seen as a feminist party before Ohly took over. He is the first man to lead the party for many years. What had become very vocal dissatisfaction over automatic rejection of male candidates in the past may have played a significant role the choice of Lars Ohly as the new leader.

It may be that Gudran Schyman will eventually express undying loyalty to the Left Party if the threat of a new split becomes too real. Her desire to return to leadership might just as well be played out within the party if Ohly is forced out. But whatever the future holds for Schyman and Ohly, the rest of us need to put the proposal for a "man tax" in its proper perspective. It is part of an internal battle for control of an outmoded, extremist, political party in which its few remaining members are being asked which they hate the most; the USA or all men everywhere.

I don't know whether Roger intended this meaning, but this is a rather profound way to put the question. The question essentially positions the USA as the last "man" standing in Western civilization, a characterization that is close to accurate. Russia may yet get on its feet and prove to be another "man" in the struggle for civilization, but Russia's transition-from-communism difficulties are currently limiting what they can do.

In the meantime the states of Eastern Europe are more characteristically 'male' in their reaction to the threat from the 7th-century Caliphate brewing in the Middle East, than any of the states of Western Europe.

France, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain, and even Italy are increasingly "female" in the way they choose to face what is essentially a conquering army that wishes to impose Islamic law on the world.

Women can generally survive a conquering army by simply giving in. Things may become unpleasant for a while, but they will get by somehow.

Men who do that are slaughtered. That's not Islam, that's Nature. Nature does not look kindly on males who will not fight. The sort of struggle we see against Islam is part of the continual process Nature uses to scrub the Earth of males who aren't capable of defending themselves.

Nature is no more kind to women who act like men. The competitive struggle for women in Nature consists of having babies. Women who have babies own the future. It will be "their kind" that populates the planet. Here again, Western Europe falls short. I don't think there is a single country in Western Europe where the birth rate is even close to replacement rate. These countries — these cultures — are literally "going out of business" while the world population of Muslims soars.

The fundamental leftist assumption that human beings are intelligent enough to plan or even engineer their societies, so as to produce utopia, is and always has been false. There are fundamental forces in Nature that decide what human societies will look like. It is those forces, not utopian leftists, that will govern who populates the world and how those people are organized.

Gender-role bending was an interesting experiment in well-meant social engineering, but we can see now that what it produces is a culture that cannot and will not propagate itself, or defend itself from invasion. It will therefore be readily wiped from the Earth by some other culture whose men fight and whose women have babies. That appears to be the only model that Nature trusts to maintain the health of the human species. Things are therefore arranged so that that model will prevail over all others.

Well-written and many good points, but Eastern Europe (except Poland) and especially Russia are almost as bad at meeting the replacement birthrate as Wetsern Europe (Ireland is still at about replacement). Take Muslims out of the picture (e.g. in France, Russia) and it gets even worse across the board.

Things are going to get even more complicated as western European women marry Muslim men (500,000 Italian women have married Muslims in the last five years).

It's not surprising. Thanks to the teachings of feminism and multiculturalism, western females have been effectively indoctrinated to hate their own, and love the "other." The outcries from feminists about Muslims have been muted. Yes, there are a few feminists who oppose Muslim treatment of women, but there are at least as many who ignore it while devoting their energies to the destruction of the "patriarchy." The more radical feminists actually support the Muslims. Swedish Feminist Joanna Rytel, writing in a recent article - "I Will Never Give Birth to a White Man" - stated: "At least Muslim men don’t mind that women have their own community in peace and quiet." Proof that Feminism was never really about bettering women's lives - that was just the cover. It's ultimate goal is the destruction of western civilization, a goal it shares with the jihadis.

The man-tax law would only be imposed upon native Swedish men. As with the Swedish "hate-speech" law, the oppressed übermenschen - favored minorities like Muslims - are exempt. Here's a quote from a Swedish prosecutor on the subjcet:

"The purpose behind the law against incitement of ethnic hatred was to ensure legal protection for minority groups of different compositions and followers of different religions. Cases where people express themselves in a critical or derogatory way about men of ethnic Swedish background were not intended to be included in this law. Because of that, the content in this article cannot be considered incitement of ethnic hatred." The leftists within are a far greater danger than the Muslims, for they poison our very will to survive. The only hope for a place like Sweden, where the majority of the native populace has been hopelessly brainwashed by the left, is a military coup. That's not very likely, as the leftist/feminists have been in control so long that even the withered military remaining are thoroughly indoctrinated and likely infiltrated with feminists, gay activists, and Muslims. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Muslims establish Sharia in a place like Swden, which seems inevitable as things stand.

Does this moron seriously believes she would be left alone in her own private peace and quiet? Taliban men would have her scrubbing mosiac floors with a tooth brush from sunrise to sunset then beat her for doing a good job. People like her are on crack or are in the Twilight Zone. Yes, it's for real. Keep in mind, many of these men are about as Muslim as John Kerry is Catholic. However, it does affect worldview, and who you side with in conflicts. Once critical mass hits, the country with a majority Muslim (practicing or otherwise) will reverse polarity. Of those who are sleepers, they may be preparing a generation of not-so-arab looking insurrectionists to make life very difficult for the non-Muslim west.
