I remember back in '91 at the time of the first Gulf War. Numerous people were saying that the MSM was liberal and bias, but people didn't want to hear it, or didn't want to believe it, including Rush Limbaugh. It took some time for even Rush to realize just how left and bias they are and have been for years. I was convinced of it, on my own, without anyone having to tell me, back in the 80's one day. I listened to President Reagan give a speech. Then the pundits came on to tell me what he had just said. I told my father in law...what I just heard President Reagan say is not what these guys are saying he said. Am I stupid or what??? My father-in-law just grinned, said figure it out sweetie pie. I did....and I have not paid any attention to those mouth pieces since.

We have such a wonderful opportunity here to provide accurate, meaningful information. It is very exciting.

And if while we are at it, we can put those jokers out of business.....all the more fun:)

Yes. It was during the Reagan years, when I saw how they treated President Reagan that I first became leery of the media. It's been downhill all the way since then and they still think they are Democrat kingmakers to this day. They put the lie to their claim of unbiased "journalism", and cynically think not many people are as smart as they are so they have to tell them.

Ask Joe McCarthy how biased the media is. He was right, but they did such a job on him that they made his name mud for fifty years. Liberal media created the "McCarthy monster," not Joe McCarthy. It's time to put the papers 'to bed.'

I was intrigued when I read your "conversion" story. I agree with your comments about late-comers, even Limbaugh. I would relate that I realized, since my days in middle school in the 1960s, that I was being spoon-fed Marxist doctrine by the public school teachers. I began to view my education with a critical eye as I went through high school, seeing how every subject and interest under the sun was filtered through a leftist lens. In college, I finally accepted that the whole world has been complicit with the advance of Marxist/communism/atheism, at all levels, everywhere. The leftist bias of the MSM is something I've watched since the days of Commie Cronkite. These things are not new. What is new is that many people are waking up to this "vast left-wing conspiracy" and finally refusing to eat their swill unadulterated.

The first obvious sign of liberal bias by the MSM, to me, was when Cronkite gave his post-Tet Offensive "We must get out of Vietnam" declaration. Of course I didn't learn about this until much later because I was in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive thinking "Well they got in a few initial hits and destroyed some equipment but they got their butts kicked". I can see why people back home bought into it though, as: 1) the then even more powerful MSM shaped the news from Vietnam, just as in Iraq 2) Americans were very naive and thought the MSM was unbiased.
