That is actually pretty good for the People's Democratic State of Maryland. The latest figures I have show over 65% Dims by registered party affiliation.
Being a Maryland resident, I must say there are a large number of W'04 and Bush Cheney signs all over.
Of course I am the only one on my street with a Bush Cheney sign (3 one -- first two were stolen in the middle of the night).
I think that is very telling. Last time Maryland went Republican was Bush #1.
