Yea I guess we are pulling thousands out of Germany also. they spent years bitching about the soldiers now their crying that we (and our money) are leaving. Ha Ha Ha. thats what they get for being ungrateful.

I wonder if there is a correlation between who our REAL allies are and who's soil we maintain a strong military presence in? Foreign people tend to like us better at a distance . . . that might explain why the Canadians spit on us and the Mexicans love us. We let the Canadians dance across our borders any time they like. France, Germany, Canada, etc. have been under the protection of our defenses too long. They are like the deadbeat ex who continues to drive our car and complain that we didn't put gas in it. I won't comment on the ROK. The people here are kind and gentle and treat our military with respect. We should continue to honor our agreements with foreign governments whatever the cost. Our word (even the word of past democratic presidents) IS our bond.
