Poor John Kerry.
He throws away someone else's medals.
He drives someone else's SUV.
He marries someone else's wife.
He inherits someone else's money.
I think we should all vote for him
To go be president of someone else's country.

I loved that question to Kerry about if he would look right into the camera and pledge no new taxes to us poor peons. It put him in a no-win situation. if elected that will dog him for years. I'm sure he's still shaking from it!

Wow! This is the defining photo of John Skerry in drag for Halloween. Thank you for finding it. I am saving it for later use. Heh! Heh! Heh!

(starts with p and ends with k ... oh five letters) I can't figure out what that word is. (It's approaching 2am and my brain is starting to glaze over, sorry)
I really liked Ron Jr's eulogy at the sundown service--he's inherited his father's speaking voice, if nothing else.

It would have been great at the start of the debate, the President walked on the stage, picked up a chair and smashed Kerry in the face. If weakling Kerry responded, Bush would kick his ass then say, see that's what you do when you are attacked. If weakling Kerry didn't respond, Bush would say, if he won't protect himself, how will he protect you. Debate over. Gee, that's what I thought I witnessed tonight. And Bush never even had to pick up the chair!

FOX Panel better shape up or I'm switching channels. It has already happened in our household. I do not understand what Fox is thinking, it was being the only place that gave conservatives a voice that made them big. How stupid are they to become just one more in a pack of liberals spewing whatever the DNC tells them to, when I can get my news off the internet or radio.

I imagine that fox's high ratings will be down a wee bit following debate #3.

Read a transcript of Ron Jr. eulogy. It was empty and devoid of any LOVE, intimacy and respect for his father.
We'll disagree on that. His demeanor turned me off. I've been honored - as one of seven children - to be selected to deliver the eulogies for both my parents. It's a task that requires ultimate care and preparation. I found his approach and tenor offensive. It was humorless, glib, spiritually empty and narcissistic.
As was stated, Michael gave a eulogy that honored his father, and provided a visceral context to the man. Ron Jr. was working a retirement banquet for all the emotion involved. Bugged me MAJORLY!

You know what it is? Fox had the biggest ratings of anyone covering the conventions--if I'm not mistaken, it set a record for cable news. The Fox brass might be getting a wee bit cocky about all this "new-found respect" they've been getting on the D.C. social scene. Just a theory.

I said in my haste, All men are liars [I really meant all Democrats]. - The Bible, Old Testament, Psalms 116:11. Man...the President's "shock and awe" has gone brought out the Biblical on this thread!
My response to sKerry's "I have a plan, Halliburton, tax cuts for the rich..." is below:
Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.

The final question absolutely SUCKED! It was nothing more than fishing for soundbytes by the Pres listing mistakes he'd made.
Then Kerry got to tell us about mistakes of the Pres. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN KERRY TELLING US ABOUT HIS OWN MISTAKES. ...............
Exactly! I was waiting for them moderator to call him on it - like say "No, no, jerk. YOUR mistakes!" Wouldn't it be nice if some new person would pick up on this...Kerry doesn't even acknowledge someone could even ask him if he's ever made a mistake - I was praying Bush would laugh and say "Hey, you're supposed to tell us about your mistakes...enough about mine!"That would have pinned Kerrry to the wall and flustered him good. That would've been a TKO

I had great fun reading that and picturing it in my minds eye. I mean I know that's what actually happened in principle, but who of us does not enjoy picturing it in physical terms!! (I guess I'm not living up to my Christian screen name right now, oh well) Hehe!

did Soros buy them out???

Given how Ron Jr. has carried himself since then, I would have to agree that it was more of a performance than a traditional eulogy--but it did sound good, you can't deny that. And it sure as hell was better than sister Patti's "embrace death" tripe. Michael was the best of the three, then and after.
