Kerry won the first half of the debate going away - Bush got stronger later on and might have pulled a draw.

And I would place it exactly with opposite with Bush being stronger early instead of later.

The Fox panel is always weak. Mort & Fred stumble around with their words and can never get to the point. Do you notice that Brit, more and more during Special Report, cuts them off and trys to usher them to the point? Bill Kristol reminds me of David Gergen; a wishy-washy, middle of the road, spineless jellyfish.

Andrea on MSNBC thinks Kerry connected with the audience better...he remembered their names.

I saw that as a desperate attempt to make people THINK he cared. He never looked at them like they were his own species -- Bush connected with them -- and, frankly, with the people at HOME!!!!
