FreeRepublic had amazing coverage of the live events and of course the DC and Florida chapters were out in force. While I was proud of our efforts I'd rather we're able to "keep our powder dry" this year.
I'm more convinced than ever, despite being unhappy with Bush on some important issues like inept border control, amnesty plans and so forth, John F'n Kerry is a HUGE danger to America's security and prosperity. At this juncture, I'm in "defeat Kerry" mode more than "re-elect W" mode. But, for crying out loud, I just wish I had the feeling the grass-roots weren't having to do all the heavy lifting. I think part of the problem that being in CA, where there's NO presidential or even senatorial campaign (despite Boxer being up for re-election) to speak of, I have no way to fairly gauge how the race is going other than the talking heads and roller-coaster polling.

If iy wasn't for the Swifties Bush would have never gotten that lead and Kerry's camp wouldn't have been in disaray
WE can't catch a break
First debate BLAH and now that boob Bremmer comes out with his BS
Damn didn't Bush talk to the guy when he got back and tell him to JUST SHUT UP
Genius Rove and Pocker Shark Bush sure don't seem like no dynamic duo

And we were caught so off=guard last time. Really, who thought the dems. would go as low as they did? As despicable as they are , it was a new low. Prayerfully, forewarned is forearmed this year.
