I know how both of you feel. I have gotten to the point where I simply can't watch television when Kerry or Edwards are on spewing their bile against the President and against this country. Same for many television talkheads. During the first debate, I was driving with my daughter listening to it on the radio. I was so embarrassed by Kerry's inane, meaningless, erroneous statements, I wanted to run out of the car--and I was driving!

I think tonight may matter quite a bit. I also think it is now generally accepted that Bush lost the first debate and that Cheney mopped up the floor with the not so silky pony. We need a big win tonight. I hope GW is up for it. Anyone know what he did today?

I won't be watching. Anybody who claims to be "undecided" by this time is:
1. So indecisive as to take four hours to decide what to wear in the morning.
2. So disingaged and ignorant of the issues that he shouldn't vote at all.
3. A liar.
4. All of the above.
I suspect there will be a lot of #3s planted in the audience tonight.

Lets hope he is fair Charlie is a liberal and works for ABC so 'fairness' is beyond his comprehension. Both he and Sawyer have made caustic comments about GWB since he took office and I'm hoping he left his bias at the door tonight. Here comes our First Lady!

Remember that it's a Presidential Debate, not a drunken fight in some trailer park.
But this involves democrats. You hafta have a drunken fight in some trailer park if you're ever gonna beat them.(Don't flame me, I've been drinkin')

We've got a four year task ahead of us. We have to destroy the Commission on Presidential Debates. Period. Their time has come - and gone.

I called, got through, secretary was nice.
I quoted the last paragraph in the memo to her and said that I don't need any news organization "evaluating" for me what I see or hear.
Especially when they are doing it from some convoluted thinking that it is in the "public interest" to do so, and that they are "doing the right thing" by propping up one candidate over another.
She took my name and phone number.
