Off topic, I'm half watching "In a Fix." One of the installers insists on calling the doors he's putting in "freedom doors."

LOL!

That reminds me (for some reason) that last night on The Apprentice the men's team won (as usual) and the reward was to play tennis with John McEnroe and Anna Kournikova. One of the guys wanted to take her out to coffee and she said if he could return one of her serves (she'd give him 5 chances) she'd go. By the third he cries "You're putting spin on it! These are CLINTON serves". The next one he pleads "Anna, you're giving Slick Willy serves here".

Alas, he wasn't able to return a serve and did not get a date.

It makes it 1000 times more difficult knowing that half of American voters may vote for this trash and destroy our country in the bargain.

Hatred distorts people's judgment.

The anger of the anti-Bush forces has seemingly made them incapable of discerning truth from lies, right from wrong or consequences.
We can only pray that these people don't decieve enough of the electorate to put this fraud into the WH.

Can you interpret what that means?

Does it mean what we've been seeing, criticize a Republican for the least little thing, and not call a Dem on blatant lies?

To me he looks as if he thinks he has the election in the bag.

Had a similar reaction when seeing Kerry's pillow rest on his private plane that read "President Kerry" and that's before he won the primary. Perhaps the fact they've perfected their method of stealing the election is what gives him such confidence.

Well, we did have one. But most people chose to ignore it including Reagan and Bush 41. Lebanon, assasinations by Palestinian terrorist, kidnappings of Americans all over the Middle East, Abu Nidal, the Achille Largo(?) incident, etc.

It just got worse under Clinton and he still didn't do anything about it. If anything I think he covered up the TWA 800 because he didn't want to deal with terrorists (like he didn't in 1993 after the first WTC bombing).

I also think the OK City bombing was terrorist related in some way. Think about this...McVeigh was in the Gulf War and someone sypathizing with the enemy happens a lot. Think of McVeigh as a military John Lindh. He had to have had more help than just Nichols. Anyway, I think that was a dry run to see what they could get away with. Clinton played that one as the fault of "hate radio". What a psychopath.

So the difference now is more simple: Vote Kerry and get the same useless plan to fight and lie about terrorist acts or vote Bush and go after these networks once and for all. Damn the rest of the stupid planet!

So this election will be (and unfortunately isn't talked about in this way) a referendum on the Bush Doctrine. If the American people are, at this time, stupid enough to reject this challenge for the security of their children, grandchildren and future children then they don't deserve to be protected.

Personally, I'm going to be disappointed if the majority of this country puts Kerry in office and sacrifice MY security because they are cowards who want to go through life giving themselves eye-witness colonoscopies.

"From that point on I was sure Bush was going to win.
Oh, and that is when I first discovered FreeRepublic.com..I saw it on the bottom of the signs."

Me too... Well, I was in Canada (having just moved here) during the whole 2000 debacle and was glued to a crackly AM radio station every day from noon to three... yep... Rush Limbaugh.

He mentioned FR during that time, I began lurking and signed up shortly after.

This is a topic for another thread, but I believe that Rush Limbaugh will have a very special place in American history--he was in the vanguard of people taking back power from "really old" media. First talk radio, then the Internet....

It's an exciting time to be alive.

..."I almost fell over when she asked where I got the Bush/Cheney sign for the lawn so that she can get one. She HATES Kerry, and says she wants Bush to win because she wants a man who will protect us."

Well, that means there are at least two people with sense in the town where you live!
