Despite Haney's rank and experience in the military he is just another talking head now, like Hackworth. He showed disdain for contractors in general, but O'Blowhard specifically linked those poor guys in Fallujah to Haney's 'wannabe' remark.

Bill never served and I believe his disdain for the Swifties and the contractors shows that he feels inferior to those that did. He is a true 'wannabe', sort of like Dan Rather.
