But Keyes is not adequately showing the electorate Obama's far left record because Keyes is a lightning rod. Keyes comes across as kooky. And that takes all the pressure off of Obama.

Obama's far left record

We'll never hear the end of it when/if Obama wins from the mainstream media. I can hear it now "big Obama win means his views are popular with the folks from Illinois". This is not good. Somehow, his record needs to be exposed.

I hate to say it but I see a lot of cars with Illinois license plates sporting Obama and Kerry stickers on them over here in Mo. I have to wonder if these are democratic operatives who figure that Obama has it locked up so why not go over to Missouri and troll for votes to help Kerry.

BTW. If I was an Illinois resident I'd vote for Keyes in a heartbeat. Obama is as scary as Kerry.

Dunno - in Keyes's case I think a rat is the better alternative.

You support Obama.

How sick is that.

No, I don't support either, will not vote for either, and will not send money to either. I support President Bush and do not support Republicans who do damage to him. I don't vote in Illinois, which makes that point moot. We have enough Republicans at the local level in Hawaii with a chance if given the money, therefore they get my extra $, as does the Bush campaign.

Your first post about this was hilarious, btw.

Alan Keyes is an embarrassment to humanity... much less the GOP.

Yours is downright fractured schizoid. my like Obama is not or is a better choice... sheesh.

You typed "in Keyes's case I think a rat is the better alternative". Obama is the rat running against Keyes.

We're arguing semantics. I realize Obama is running against Keyes, but because I "think" he's better alternative doesn't mean I "support" him - he gets no vote from me and no cash, only a "better than Keyes" post on a conservative bulletin board.

We see enough Bush bashing on this board. We should be able to feel free to bash the Bush bashers, including Alan Keyes.

Oh, I'm voting for Keyes. Hard to explain to my 11 year old but never-the-less!

Does this mean we aren't going to win the Senate seat in IL???

Don't tell it to the Keyes Kool Aid Krowd here on FR. They would scream at anyone 2 months ago who dared to criticize Keyes' psychotic episodes public statements. I actually know someone in the Keyes campaign and my heart goes out to them. The guy really needs professional help. He had a huge opportunity to expose Obama's dangerous radical-Marxist agenda, and failed miserably. The one thing Keyes had to do was hurt Obama. Even if he lost--to have Obama go to D.C. not for a coronation, but wounded and defensive. Instead Keyes made the race all about one thing--Keyes, and his bizarre and irrelevant pronouncements, which has only made Obama stronger.

Attacking the VP's daughter? Cmon.

What's THAT got to do with anything? The question is - who do you want sitting there in Congress, getting on national tv, promoting this bill or that - Obama? You want Obama in there?

What are you talking about? Can you go down a bulleted list giving what he said and the date, maybe a URL link, for such "bizarre" irrelevancies? Or is this just the spin from Obama's press corps? And whatever it is that he said, does that mean you TRUST Obama to be crafting national legislation, to be casting votes, more than Republican Keyes? Or are you just THAT frustrated with Keyes, which goes to my first question?

It has to do with electing JOHN KERRY. Which is how Keyes plans to get even with Dubya.

You're despicable.

Slanderous lies are so unbecoming for FReepers.

Alan Keyes has passionately and repeatedly stood up for the President all over the state of Illinois.

You mean like his vote against the born alive protection act? If people don't know about that by now, they've not been paying attention.

If I may be blunt, that is an idiotic mentality.

You probably haven't kept up with the news on how Keyes is strongly supporting President Bush.

Also, you can try to Kerry your way out of what was posted, but like his record it's there to see.

Tend to agree with you...Keyes is about Keyes...wand while I agree with a lot he says, his agenda is all about him. He has become an empty suit....GOP would have been better off running an average joe sixpack.
