nah! Paul... America has become a gelding, no balls.. those that do could be mopped up in a heartbeat.. Unless a major change takes place we're screwed.. A third party is autistic thinking.. looking at a light bulb through your fingers like an autistic child.. and maybe humming the star bangled bammer while doing it... Conservatives don't want change or they wouldn't be conservative.. We need radical change.. Democrats desperatly want change.. and you know the changes they want as well as I do..
Its getting very close to trying to build a third party is anti-patriotic.. a diversion.. something to buy time for the hoards from mexico to build their pawer base.. Paul you.. yes you, are trying to buy time for the demise of America not the rise of it.. Suggestion: revover from your space trip and get busy in more fruitful pursuist.. Hey! its just a suggestion..
Voting for G. Bush.?.. I am... I have no other real option.. because NOT voting for Bush makes two votes for Kerry. Bush don't get one and the one for Kerry is twice as potent.. Not voting at all SAME DEAL...
Let's TRY to go over your points one at a time.
1) (Hold on, I've got to actually find one.) The rot is not too deep. It's not incidental patriotism to be starting to force the focus in the country back to the elimination of the waste, fraud and abuse.
2) We are not a gelding. This country is the greatest country. We have some problems. We're going to HAVE to fix those problems. I just got done listening to the debate. Bush demolished Kerry. But, he still didn't address some issues that are major and need help. Kerry would do those items worse.
3) It is not anti-patriotic for us to build a third party. As the Democrats and the Republicans continue to get closer and closer on domestic and foreign policies, then one of the two is going to have to collapse. And there will be room for a new party.
I'm going to give you a simple example. Many years ago, there was a small 3rd party. It had formed with no nationwide media to speak of, two strong parties that kept getting closer and closer in principle, and yes, one had to go. 6 years after this new party formed, it's second Presidential candidate won the office.
The Republican Party put Abraham Lincoln in after only 6 years of existance.
And, I'm not off in space, nor autistic, nor insane. I truly believe that a third party CAN and WILL win soon. I don't think this country can stand the division much longer. There's too much hatred in the troops and the heads of the parties are too much alike.
