With the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall Experience coming to Huntsville next month and construction plans already under way for the new HEARTS Veterans Museum, there's a lot going on at the building's future site on Highway 75 North.
As the wall makes it way to the area Nov. 4 to 7, museum officials are working hard on a lot of different things to help keep the construction of the massive new building moving.
First, though, is the need for money to pay for the construction, and to help that need, museum officials are hosting a barbecue and silent auction Saturday at the Samuel Walker Houston Cultural Center on 10th Street.
The event mixes food, auctions and fun in an effort to support construction of a new complex to house the museum, which currently resides inside West Hill Mall.
November 2nd has been called "Veteran's Day" by many - this will be a great way to start the museum's Wall event. Justice for vietnam vets.
