Streissand is delusional in her socialistic thinking. If this nation puts Kerry in the White House, we will face unimaginable potential for more and worse horror IMHO.

It is amazing to me...almost impossible to believe, that so many people could be so blind...could follow the pied piper. Kerry is the most left leaning politician to have ever been in the Senate. His record is that of a pure, unadulterated socialist/marxist. He is an enemy to the foundational principles upon which this nation has been founded and what has made her great...and he is unapologetic about it, and been extremely vocal about it over the years. He out and out betrayed this nation and all those who have fought and bled for her...and consorted with the enemy in so doing...he has not changed since.

How so many could have forgotten the lessons of 9-11, or the stark reality of what it is the terrorists and those nations and organizations that support them are doing up to this day...is beyond me. I pray that the majority of Americans...the vast majority...come out in numbers on November 2nd and defy and astonish this cabal of politicians, media, entertainers and their followers.

If we do not...I fear the horror we face will be magnified ten fold.

Absolutely.

Barbara, SHUT UP AND SING! Or, just shut up.

Celebritits' views on politics are just about as useful as "celebrity gossip." Everyone has opinions, and everyone has private lives. But because these people are "famous," every burp and sneeze is considered newsworthy.

Why?

It's the public's fault for listening.

"the man who was on the frontline in Vietnam fighting the war"

I'm sure she got this BS from Kerry, but there was no frontline in Vietnam.

Well said. First off, we all seem to agree that Babs is an idiot. Second, I agree that we face grave threats and Kerry does not understand them or have a clue as to how to deal with them effectively. Third, the real horror is that there are millions and millions who want a socialist welfare state at home and pacifism abroad.

No one wants war. If enough people are going to be naive and blindly follow emotions, and vote against Bush (no one is enthusiastic about Kerry, face it, not even the die-hard libs) because they are "anti-war," then they will get the government they asked for. I can't think of a better "punishment" for the libs than to have them live in a world where all their kooky ideas are implemented. That would change their minds real fast! But sicne I would have to live in that world too, I have to make sure their candidates don't get a chance to get in and screw things up.

I'm gonna have an ulcer by the time this election is over . . .

The funnies thing about this letter is that it's a seminar form letter provided by the DNC! I have now seen these same points made, word for word in several papers including my local town rag.

Babs, so worldly and wise but apparantly not smart enough to write her own debate review. Give her credit though, at leaast she waited until after the debate to release it. Several of her fellow idiot travelers on the left sent their debate reviews (same ones by the way) to newspapers BEFORE THE DEBATE. Bawaaawaaawaaaaaaahaaahahah!

Hey, Babs! I believe GWB finished school. I know folks from Texas ain't much for book-learnin', but I'm sure he knows how to punctuate. I think he knows the use of a semi-colon; you do not.

If her politics don't make you nauseous, the punctuation should.

I would be interested to know how many swiftboat casualties we actually had during the Vietnam War.

Agreed.

I was half-thinking of starting a vanity thread, but I might as well say it here. (I still don't quite have the hang of posting, etc.) As far as the war foes, I think the natural inclination of many in the US is to favor "peace" over war (no one here WANTS a war), and favor the party portrayed as the "underdog." Again, we can't govern by our emotions alone. We need to think things through! But enough people in the country have these reflexive reactions, and the MSM plays on them by showing the plight of poor little Iraq, occcupied by the big bully US, and the poor palestinians, who are forced by big evil Israel to blow themselves up. That's what we have to counter.

I just think that sometimes you have to try to get into the heads of the left to understand how they came to their opinions and therefore effectively counter the "building blocks" they used to construct their opinions. Babs and millions of others are a lost cause, of course, but there are still some undecideds out there who can be convinced, if all the facts are explained. I hope.

Well that was kind of rambling. Good thing I didn't start a new thread! :)

This is about the better president, not the better candidate.
