25 June 2004: 17 Additional 122mm SAKR-18 Artillery Rockets. July 2004: 22 Additional 122mm SAKR-18 Artillery Rockets An additional 17 rockets from the same cache described above (d) were identifi ed at the Khamisiyah Depot by the same source. (See fi gure 8). Sixteen were returned to ISG for analysis and one was exploded onsite because it retained an intact rocket motor that posed safety concerns. Most of the rounds had been severed, exposed to heat, or were partially destroyed. Four intact rounds were separated for testing and returned a preliminary positive result for G-series nerve agent. None of these rounds retained a liquid fi ll line, suggesting the agent had degraded over time. 22 more rockets were discovered at Khamisiyah. 21 were in deteriorated condition with only one intact rocket with residual riot control agent present.

I doubt this is true. If it were, don't you think the Bush adminsistration would have been trumpeting it to the skies?
My guess is that these pre 1991 weapons were identified and taken out in Gulf WAR I.
Any stockpile then probably wasn't there by the time we got there in 2003.

Does the text of the report state the 41 rockets were filled with agent?Turn to Annex F in V3
To: bitt
I typed in the web address shown on this page (the www2.cia.gov/Iraqs_WMD_Vol3.pdf) and it wouldn't go anywhere. Then I went to the CIA site and did a search on Iraqs WMD. This map did not come up as one of the selections.

I wish Rush would turn to Annex F (specifically page 30) in Volume 3 too.

...you have just posted a sensational allegation without a link to a corroborating source. Not really. The link he provides shows a screenshot of a page from the ISG report, with the cia.gov address at the top of it, so you could paste that into your browser to go to it directly on the CIA's website. He's new, so let's not scare him off unnecessarily - the moose and Viking Kitty threads will do that just nicely, thank you!!! ;>)

Well well, what do we have here? Those don't look like model airplanes..............
To: brookwood
As a Freeper once noted here months ago, if the rockets weren't targeting Disney World during Gay Days, bearing labels stating "Made in 2002," then they don't count!

Yeah, it finally worked for me. Thanks. I just wanted to see it for myself rather than relying on a screenshot. And I can now say that I've seen it for myself -- and I can't understand why no one's saying anything about this! I've sent notes to the folks at NewsMax about it. Maybe others will do the same.
To: OXENinFLA
but there's no WMD. The press and the DEMOC
s tell us so.

They also don't count unless the phrase SADDAM'S WMD are stenciled in bright orange letters on the side.

No problem; so far we have 5,000 views to this and a prior related thread - enough to win Florida!
