He has one of those weird, inappropriate, permanent grins. Somewhat like the inappropriate grin of John Edwards. It makes them both look untrustworthy, IMO.
Interesting observation. In fact, I was emailing with the fella who runs the blog Shieffer (BS) mentioned last night -- http://www.indcjournal.com/ -- and seems like BS must have a schtick down pat. BS appeared on Larry King the night before and said (dare I write, "repeated") nearly the same thing at Olsson's. Now, this is no biggie. Politicos do it all the time -- memorize a schtick and rehash wherever, whenever.
From BS's comments, seems like he got a kick out of the blogger interviewing him, on the fly, w/ camera cell phone in hand. The answers Schieffer offered were clearly the legalese kind approved by C-BS attorneys. No worries though. I'm sure, as I write this, Dick Thornburgh is getting to the bottom of the mess. Question is what will his report reveal and who, if anyone, will be fired (eg, blame it on producer Mapes, maybe??).
