(Robert KKK) Byrd Threw Kerry's Book in Garbage

Democratic Party stalwart Sen. Robert Byrd is one hundred percent behind Sen. John Kerry's drive to unseat President Bush in next month's election.

But like a lot of Republicans, Byrd didn't think much of Kerry's anti-war shenanigans three decades ago, when he teamed up with "Hanoi Jane" Fonda and led protests against his country's involvement in the Vietnam War.

Still, in 1971, Kerry had the gall to ask the West Virginia Democrat to review the book he co-authored chronicling his role in the group Vietnam Veterans Against the War, titled, "The New Soldier." Byrd wasn't exactly thrilled with Kerry's literary effort.

"You wanted to know my reaction to your book," he wrote back, according the Charleston, West Virginia Daily Mail.

"I say most respectfully, I threw it in the wastebasket after leafing through it," Byrd explained.

Instead of throwing evidence in the wastebasket, the rats should read it and see what side they're really supporting.

It says a lot that he didn't even save it, to use as a starter for burning a cross.

You think it'd make a difference?

If Byrd is telling the truth, which I doubt. Remember when he said that Clinton certainly committed high crimes and misdemeanors. He used a lot of nasty adjectives, but in the end, he couldn't bare to vote to uphold the impeachment. He's as disgusting and vile as Clinton.

My guess is that KKK Byrd didn't throw it in the trash, he probably used it to light a cross on fire.

"I say most respectfully, I threw it in the wastebasket after leafing through it," Byrd explained.

What the heck does "most respectfully" mean at this point? How could this rat have any respect for:

I have to say, this doesn't improve my opinion of the Kleegle. He's still KKK scum. He probably threw kerry's book away because it had big words in it.

It's amazing to realize that the only four Senators to vote for the war, but against the $87 billion were; Kerry, Edwards, 'Bring Back the Draft' Hollings, and KKK Byrd. What a group!

I thought Bush dragged Byrd on a rope behind his pick up truck a few years ago??? Must be a tough old Byrd.

"Wrong. WRONG. WRONG!!!"

Senator Byrd should be cast in a theater production of Our Town.

Not really. I'm just pointing out in an indirect way that they don't want to see it because that's their way of avoiding responsibity.

I understand that copies of 'The New Soldier' are pretty incriminating and hard to come by.

It's for sale...

And free too!

I guess that's where Kerry learned the raised fist salute he uses in front of black audiences.
