Right now I live at Albuquerque but hope to move to rural west Texas before I get too old and feeble. It's tough though to get my wife away from our two grandbabies at Albuquerque. Me too I guess. I LOVE Albuquerque. I've lived there 3 times. I just moved back to the family ranch a couple of years ago, but I sure do miss it. I was living down in Corrales. I still go into the city at least once a month to go shopping. I definitely KNOW how to shop. I'm a power shopper and I have to get it all done in a couple of days. LOL It's a great city to live in.
You can't leave your grandbabies and move off to TX. They would be heartbroken. Sounds like you and your wife would be too. Besides, you would be moving right into "tornado alley." 8-)
Yes indeed. I have the two greatest grandbabies on earth (bet you've heard that before.) However, I've had to live in New Orleans, Washington D.C., and Albuquerque for the past thirty years and am ready to return to my rural roots. I've already promised my wife a new minivan every two years just to use to drive over to see the grandbabies if she will just go back to the farm with me. Sounds like Green Acres doesn't it? No, I was not a lawyer though. LOL!
