If a national ID card is what we need to rid our country of illegal aliens I am all for it. Which is worse being overrun or controlled?
We'll slowly get both. Gradually though, not all at once.
I do not see as how we have such a clear choice. Part of the "control" is that we will be overrun anyway. Check out where you will see that our borders will soon be meaningless in terms of preventing mass migration which is bound to include some terrorists also entering our country.
Also, please check out the current issue of The New American . The cover story is entitled: "Surveillance State I.D. - Implantable VeriChip Launches in Mexico". About how the Mexican government is using and encouraging the VeriChip, not only as a deterrent to kidnapping, but also as a "security" measure to track people's access to high-security areas, for instance. When our country and Mexico are merged, (see FTAA) our own government will begin the process of adapting its use for our people as well.
Could this be the prophesied "mark in the hand"?
A national ID card will not get rid our country of illegal aliens.
This is the crucial point that the pompous parrots overlook. Either way we're "controlled".
