Ahhh - a '55! I know for sure '53 and '56.

'54 and '55 - those two years confuse me by the tail ends.

As a kid, this was a game played on the road. I always did get those two years mixed up, lol.

Actually 55 and 56 are the two years most often confused, if you look closely at the taillights in the photo, you'll see that they are basically flat at the rear,while the '56 also had a bullet shaped protrusion from the back rearwards.

Also, the grills were different, but that's not obvious n the pictures.

I keep threatening the wife that her next car will be a restored '57 4 door hardtop in blue and white. Hauls a ton of groceries and won't be mistaken for every other POS in the lot. I think that she wants me to make good on the threat, tho.... so about that '63 split window

Oh, and, the 55 had a gas door, the '56 taillight opened up almost like the '57. See the door in the picture?
