Tonight around 6:45, caller to Triv show (the original eyewitness) said the object was rotating, red,green white lights, therefor the multi-colored ribbon-like time exposure photos.

I actually saw something similar a few years back in California. It was a test of an SDI system, fired at a moving target... looked almost exactly like that.
