Secret military development continues. There's no way to know what happens to all of your tax dollars. Sounds more like "Skunk Works" progeny than UFO's
I've seen lots of planes with lots of trails over the last few weeks. It's to the point that I spend more time watching the skys than watching the traffic that I get stuck in.
Geez, crazy Muslims and now the damn aliens are acting up.
bump for later
Shakes the Clown perhaps?
The wtam site has archived many of the call to the show that day. They are here: http://www.wtam.com/triv/index.html
9-22-04 Calls to Wills and Coleman.mp3
"Just a rainbow" according to the caller in Euclid.
what desktop is that? nextstep?
should have said window manager...
Maybe it was John Kerry in his Tinky Winky outfit scouting Cleveland for the best pierogi restaurant!
Please see posts 147 and 148.
The first calls described what was probably sunlight reflecting off high ice clouds, or as one caller said "a rainbow".
After that everybody was commenting on contrails (which is just plain silly).
Well, there is a NASA facility close by. I don't think Kerry or THK would ever stoop to eating pierogies, though.
Under normal twinkling conditions ( most clear nights ) you can see the colors more distinctly by looking through binoculars and swirling them around in a tight circle, so the stars make loops in the field of view. You will see the colors spread out along the loops. ( Make sure no one is watching you :-)

This is exactly what that looks like, and I think it's very likely that's what we're seeing in the video shots. They would be single frames of a jittery magnified star.
It's just bluefish.
Exactly.
The screen captures are not related to the "witness" calls to the radio station.
