In a few decades, radical Islam will ultimately dominate the European Union, and perhaps most of the world. It has already become a dominant force in the UN, which is reflected in the results of voting against Israel's anti-terrorist barrier. In this respect, we should note that the widespread usage of the word "wall" is itself a small victory of anti-Israeli propaganda, since 93 percent of the barrier consists of a fence that can be quickly removed once the Palestinian authorities manage to restrain the terrorists' activity.
The first reason extreme Islam will prevail is the intellectual advantage that al-Qaeda leaders have over western European politicians. The latter want to believe that there is no clash of civilizations; that terrorism is just a product of misery and lack of education; that the solution lies in a multicultural, tolerant society; and that the stubbornness of the Americans and Israelis is to blame for all the problems.
What naïveté. An editorial in the March issue of Mu'askar al-Battar (an al-Qaeda newsletter) sets these fantasies right: "The war of cultures had begun long before the 9/11 attacks, before Huntington and Fukuyama. This war has been going on since there first were the faithful and the unfaithful." We might cite dozens of similar statements. The European leaders who still doubt the validity of Huntington's "clash of civilizations" theory are kidding themselves. The leaders of Islamic radicals are fanatics, but they are intelligent fanatics.

I only steal social security checks from old ladies at the end of the month. The rest of the time I'm on the message boards.
Agreed.
The idea of a global government is so laughable, so completely impossible, only some hubris-ridden, egotistical nutjobs like Soros would go for it.
They have this idea that those at the top would be able to impress and dragoon those at the bottom, after having moved the vast middle to the depths.
Before the middle gets creamed, all hell will break loose. And I'm one of those people with a wild streak, too. Lots more out there.....
That's the collectivists' plan.
Half-full cheers.
Unbelievers of the world, unite!
If it comes down to a choice between the Islamists or the Chinese, I'll take the Chinese. I don't think they are very P.C. about racial issues.
Good synopsis, very similar to ones I've read in print.

What now indeed.
You beat me to this post! Mine was pulled, I didn't see yours. I looked but didn't see it. Sorry about that (to all).
Most timely and important angle that needs to be examined. I'm sending this to someone for analysis. We need to be ever vigilant on where this organization seeks to operate and thwart their every move.
Whither Europe?
If all goes well your friendly teacher will soon be out of the slammer!
China is an expansion team. I have been keeping an eye on them for the better part of the last decade or more and have been keeping a much closer eye on them for the last 6-7. Even moreso in the last 2. Their military buildup is alarming.
Yes, they have taken careful note of their weaknesses in their capabilities and are acting to bridge gaps in their force structure in a hurry. They will expand their submarine force indefinitely and ditto for force modernization. US business interests that have been exporting dual use technologies in the past and investors with the SHORT TERM only in mind are only aiding and abetting the Chinese. China is expanding its oil interests in the ME with Saudi complicit.
Sooner or later in the next 100 years (or less), in my analysis, we could end up in a major war with China and it has the potential to escalate throught the Pacific region and potentially spill over into the Middle East.
Those buggers have a tight long term strategic game plan and few in the so-called "West" can see it. Most people glibly gloss over their military/political system. So much for vision and foresight.
