If life has you down and out, no food on the table, no heat in the house I can give you some good advice.
Trot on down to the local Army recruiter. They could always use a good man. Why, you'll be able to travel the world, get good pay and learn a few new skills.
When you get out you'll be full of confidence and ready to take on anything.

Somehow your advice does not seem friendly. Rather tinged with hate. Do you represent what freepers are all about? Well..what about it freepers?
FYI, I am 50 years old with health problems, so I can't trot down to join up. I'm sure that you would just grin ear-to-ear if I were to fall into harm's way, but that just shows you for the hateful little person that you are. Take a look in the mirror, like who you see? I don't.
It's people like you that make enemies of potential supporters. You are doing a disservice to you party by representing them is such a spiteful manner.
