Good question - but didn't both Bremer and the CIA take a hit over Iraq - perhaps this is payback -

just a thought - I never did trust the CIA - and wondered why G.T. was allowed to stay - but Rum. was a surprise -

Now, one has to wonder how many other hidden people there are(lifers) - and when they will hit with their attack -

just an opinion -

Bremer could be understandable. He was abruptly pulled from Iraq without any full explanation. Perhaps behind the scenes Bush was highly critical of his management skills or maybe he could not get along with Rumsfeld. Who knows? However, since he left Iraq he's taken every chance to be critical of Bush, in a rather, "oops, did I say that?" manner. Nothing really overt, just bits and pieces of sound bites that can be taken out of context and hyped by the MSM - which they haven't hesitated to do. Bremer's no fool. He knows that's what they'll do and he's been playing into it.
As for the CIA report, the new Director is a career spook so their backstabbing report must be the views of the professional working class in the Agency, rather than the political appointees. That would really worry me since it's hard to say how deep the dry rot of treason goes before it can be completely rooted out.
