Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee soon may be filming a reality TV show at the University Nebraska Lincoln.
Lee, who helped Motely Crue record hard rock classics like 'Kickstart My Heart' and 'Smokin' in the Boys Room' could soon be hoping to put the doctorate in 'Dr. Feelgood.'
Rolling Stone reported that the 42 year old has signed on to star in the series for NBC, in which cameras will follow Lee as he enrolls in college and experiences college life.
UNL spokesman David Fitzgibbon confirmed Monday that NBC will soon film a reality show on campus although university officials wouldnt confirm its premise or talent because of a confidentiality agreement with producers.
NBC spokeswoman Wendy Lockenbill said she has no comment.

It turns out Tommy Lee is not enrolled at UNL. They will pretend he is enrolled, and UNL will play along. UNL will be paid the grand total of $500 for allowing them to film the show. They will give up any right to sue the production company, and in turn have agreed to prevent their own faculty from divulging any information about the show (bring it on!). They made a big deal about Tommy Lee being forbidden to engage in drunkenness, drug-taking or public nudity on campus, but then agreed that frat houses would be excluded from the agreement. I heard this afternoon the producers told the women in his building that he is free of hepatitis and AIDS.
Reality TV is for idiots, but the bigger idiot is Harvey Perlman, the chancellor of UNL, who went along with this deal.
This sounds really dumb, he's not even going to enroll?
Nope.
However, according to the contract (I have a copy) the Chancellor will not be allowed to say publicly he's isn't an enrolled student.
I predict when the dust clears, Perlman will resign over this.
What a sham, I predict this will be all over the media before the show airs..
