Click article link to see the article and explanation of how the images were obtained (also includes a true color image and a link to a high-resolution true-color image). At the very top of the high resolution image you can see the Visitor's Center where the VolcanoCam for Mt. St. Helens is located (literally at "the end of the road").
Direct link to the high-resolution IR image (only 1.5 MB, loads pretty easily):

It's actually easier to see the road and the Visitor's Center parking lot in the IR image; the road and parking lot are pink because they've absorbed sunlight and are hot.
Coolbeans!
Notice the bright red points all over the lava dome.
Why did your parents name you "Zardoz?"
That was the name of his other leg. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know.
I thought Merck pulled Zardoz off the market two days ago.
No, that was Vioxx. Zardoz is the ultra-secret "super" No-Doze. One Zardoz allows you to stay awake during Vice Presidential debates AND the subsequent 31/2 hours of punditry. No-Doze is overwhelmed by those conditions.
