Eddie Yost and Manny Ortez must be so proud.

This just in: the Yankees can go straight to hell. Oh how I hate them.

Also: seems like the Grady Little Disease of 2003 is catching on all around the league. WTF was homeboy doing in there for a third inning?!

Heads up base running by Jeter. But this is going to be tough for the Yanks. Santana is impossible to score on. They have to win the next two.

Did they tear down the goal posts of Lambert Field?

A-Rod came up huge. I think his series got a much needed break when the dribbler in his first AB yesterday was beaten out for a hit. It took the pressure off as far as batting average goes, as compared to starting out 0-4.

Santana is hittable. Yanks just stranded too many runners and bad base running (Posada runs like a slug)

I love Posada, but he is probably the worst base runner in the American League. The Yanks caught Santana at his worst in Game One and still did not score a run. He had an ERA of 1.10 after the All Star Game and has not lost since early July. I would love to be proven wrong, but I do not believe the Yankees or anybody else is going to get more than one run off of him in this post season. He is in that Sandy Koufax zone right now. But I just want to enjoy this one for awhile. It's tough being a Yankees fan and living in Boston.

"WTF was homeboy doing in there for a third inning?!"

Gardy would have risked more putting romero or crain in! UUGGHH... Hunter finally comes through in the clutch and nathan wrecks it! Hunter's probably beating nathan with a bat in the clubhouse!!

Nathan didn't wreck it. You can't ask for more from a closer asked to pitch his third inning. Gardenhire did wreck it. He put our season on the line and lost.

Screw the Yankees.

New York is a dem hotbed, and the dems are in league with the terrorists.

End of story.

Root for a different team or don't root a tall.

Damn Yankees! It's hard to break a lifelong habit; but if Kerry is a Red Sox fan, I might consider supporting the Bronx Bombers.

I thought the Yanks coach and Steinbrenner are Bush backers?

I'd have done the same thing Gardenhire did, I'd have rolled the dice to try to put the Yanks down 0-2, but I'd have taken Nathan out after the walk to Jeter, it was evident then he was toast.
