Don't worry about it.
Except for the hockey no one in Canada watches the CBC.

And some Republicans who claim to be Bush-Cheney supporters tut tut over Cheney looking tired last night.
I wish they'd cut Bush and Cheney a break. It gets on my last nerve to read here and from pundits "He looks tired".
No $h!t. They have it coming from all sides and they are in fact good and decent men, truly honorable, truly patriotic.

NO, It's another sign that the liberal media is no ally of America or any freedom loving nation.
It's not fair to paint all Canadians with such a broad brush. It's the liberal Canadians who are not our friends.
When Liberals can make an argument for their case, they write books and produce movies that are nothing short of propaganda that have no resemblance to the facts

I wonder why CBC would bother with this story. Kerry already has the Canadian vote locked up.

Did you visit the site? I agree with your point -- documentation provides a starting position for refutation. But the sourcing on this site -- financed by the Canadian government -- is extensive enough to throw up a smokescreen for the average reader/viewer.
I feel like the Canadians are actually trying to help the terrorists.
Why is the world so crazy? Cheney is probably one of the greatest Americans of all time, and here are our closest neighbors tarring him as a murderous, power-mad traitor.
-- And I happen to live in Canada for work, and I know that people here watch the CBC, especially its news division. To a very large extent, the CBC controls the dialogue here.

I am so glad to hear you say that. With that upnote I'll call it a day for thinking about politics. Thanks for the positive post.

Don't tell me. Bla, bla, bla. Cheney sold his soul to Halliburton in trade for holding the reigns of power...

No, ordinary citizen. I am most fortunate to have never met him. I do not ever want him around my family. My interaction with him has been strictly via email. He is on a list I subscribe to. He and one other 'progressive' are vastly outnumbered by conservatives. Why he stays after the insults he receives is beyond me. Must like getting his @$$ kicked.:-)

Wouldn't it be illegal for any U.S. outlet to air a partisan hit piece of this sort within 60 days of the election?

It's not fair to paint all Canadians with such a broad brush. It's the liberal Canadians who are not our friends. The fact is, most Canadians are liberal. A recent poll here puts support for Kerry at around 70 percent, with bush sub 20 percent. On Iraq, it was over 80 percent opposed. It's very troubling. I'm starting to feel like the Canadian government is attempting to directly manipulate our democracy via their mass media. Even if this is ultimately a futile effort, I feel like it's tantamount to an attack.
